    Windows 10 no administrator access

I just upgraded my laptop from windows 7 to windows 10. Before I upgraded, my brother created an account for himself and windows 10 seems to think that his account was the main one. He didn't have administrator access, so now I'm locked out of everything that requires administrator access.
When I try to install new software, the security pop up happens, asking for an administrator password, but there is no field to enter a password.
I can't open the command prompt (windows -> cmd -> enter)
I can't switch accounts, logging out lists no other accounts.

How do I get administrator access back, and how can I make windows stop thinking I'm my brother?

If you do Windows Key + R, then enter cmd in the run dialog. Then in the command window type net localgroup administrators

    What do you get?

EDIT: Sorry for the double-post, I thought I would be able to delete my first comment after making the quoted one

Yep, you done deleted all administrators except for the built in Administrator account...

You can try these fixes - should be the same for Windows 10:
Lost administrator account on Windows 7 - Microsoft Community

Oh, and make sure you do a Power -> restart to actually get a full cold boot, that might be required to activate the Administrator account when no other administrators are present in the system.

I managed to enable the administrator account, but now when I go to log into the administrator account, It tells me
"Your account has been disabled. Please see your system administrator"

On top of that, it seems to have forgotten my microsoft account so now there is absolutely no way to log in, and for some reason the power button has disappeared from the login screen

Wow. So it looks like you have two options at this point. If you have a second installed hard drive, or an external hard drive you can use a Macrium Reflect Rescue disk/drive from another computer, boot the troubled computer with that, make an image of your current system, then wipe everything and start with a clean install.

or, if you have a big enough primary hard drive, you can create a bootable Minitool Partition Wizard disc, boot the troubled computer with that, shrink the existing system partition to make room for a new system partition and create a new primary partition and do a clean install of Windows 10 to the new partition.

Unless someone else can come up with a way to hack into your no user Windows 10.

Well, I have the same problem - but, I'm logged in as "Dan":

    C:\Users\Dan>net localgroup administrators

While it says I have unrestricted access, I don't. I can't do a darn thing that requires administrative access.

I have the same issue as you Dan. My account is the admin account, when I view my user account it says I am the administrator yet I can't do anything that requires admin access.
