Is that the only account? Do you know the password? There isn't a simple way to get the pin down you need to get to documents?
Regrettably no, but all is not necessarily lost. If your wife was not using bitlocker, you might be able to remove drive and put it in a usb enclosure, and then recover 8mportant data using another pc.
There are various tools that allegedly bypass passwords but it is much harder nowadays as MS have closed a lot of the loopholes that used to be used.
If you are not sure how to remove drive and recover data, a local computer dealer should be able to assist. However, do not allow yourself to be scammed - it should only take them an hour or two at most.
If drive is bitlocked though, you may end up losing all data and only option is to reinstall from scratch.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Was her account a Microsoft account? It's not possible to reset the PIN or password for a Microsoft account, if it was a Local account then you can reset its password.
Do you know her password? If so, click 'sign-in options' below the PIN box and you'll be able to choose to sign in with a password.
Alternatively, you could enable the built-in Administrator local account, then use that to create a local account for yourself. Make this an administrator account then you'll be able to sign in with your own account and access the files in her user folder. If her account was a local account you could also reset its password.
You will need to use Option Five here....
