Hi. I would like to change my recovery email address to my MS account. I want to scrap this old email address. Also can I have my recovery email address the same as my main one? All that happens is I get a verification email
At upper right is My Profile, go there then to Customize my profile. There is a link further down to change that E-Mail address. The main thing is that it is used when the main E-Mail address doesn't work so by logic it should be different, something other than what was used to create the account. Nearly everyone has 2 or more E-Mail accounts.
No that dosn't work. All I can do is add a picture
Sign-in preferences, Link your phone to your PC, Close account
Billing & shipping addresses
Scroll down to Account info > Edit account info.
You may need a code sent to the old email address to access the area to change it.
Add email address.
Remove old Email address.
I don't want to add a new email address or remove my main email address. I want to change the RECOVERY email address. Thats diffrent.
