When I logged in to my other Acer PC,
I got a message as follows - your organisation requires you to change your password ie PIN number
Is this message from Windows.?
The PC is my personal property, no " organisation" is involved.

Just leave everything blank and click OK > OK > OK > OK etc. It will accept an empty field as the new password (which = no password at all)
Yep - this may well be the issue.
I once connected to my works domain by mistake by installing Teams and forgot to uncheck the "let your organisation control yor pc box" rather than select to only login to Teams.
I realised immediately and cancelled Team installation but by then the damage was done and all sorts of policy restrictions were in place.
In the end, I restored an image backup.
