    I was not trying to get to safe mode, that was what came up after i did shift left click.

    I took the time and trouble to carefully explain Safe Mode to you and asked you to try something.

    Sure i did not get to safe mode, just this auto signin saying for reset disc. Clicked on and was opened on desktop.
    Started a few times and all seems ok.
    Not sure what happened but at least i am back in business.

    This is what i used from your post
    One way- from the logon screen e.g. - is to click the Power button bottom left on the screen, then SHIFT + left click Restart.
