    Having to change my password every day

    I am having to change my password every single day even though my password is set to remember me and it is also saved by my browser and also my security suite.
    Can someone please tell me what I can do a it is getting extremely annoying.

    Password for what???

    - login to a site?
    - an email account?

    Why do you feel you need to change it?

    my password is set to remember me
    Hmm, how do you do that, I wonder?

    Please put yourself in the position of someone reading your post.... thanks.

    Thanks for the clarification.

    My experience of this site is that having logged in, I can close the tab/browser/shut down, then simply open tenforums again- and I'm still logged in until I specifically log out.

    @z3r010 - I wonder if you could help ICIT2LOL?

    Nobody else is having any issues and login hasn't been touched in over a decade, so I think it's pretty safe to say the problem isn't at our end.

    All I can think of is to start fresh and remove all saved passwords for the site from your browser and security suite, make sure you are not using something like ccleaner to clear the site's cookies and log in fresh and then resave the login.

    John,

    Did you really mean change rather than re-enter?

    Are you saving cookies? That's the ONLY way a site like this one can utilize the Remember me option. I know, I run a website forum like this. Albeit with waaaay less of an audience. LOL

    Thanks John I have tried that and my browser and AV suit both have password savers in them but the problem has not happened this morning perhaps it was just a glitch.

    Highlight and quote is a feature of the Eleven Forum software. It's never been available here, Ten Forums uses different (older) software. The Quote (or Multi-quote) icons at the bottom right of each post are your only options for quoting here.
