How to prevent kids' accounts from hijacking my laptop ?

    .
I'm the manager of my grandchildrens' phones.

Recently, I installed Qustodio on one of those kids phones. As far as I can remember, most of the work was done using my own iPhone. Maybe some work was done on my laptop.

Now, when browsing the web, I notice that the icon for that kid shows when I use Google.

It only takes 2 clicks to restore my own icon, but what do I need to do in order to permanently show my own icon ?

BTW: I log out when not in use, and log back in with my own PIN.

    Thanks

The icon is showing on your phone?

It sounds like your Google account or something Google is attached to one of the kid's phones.

If that's the case they should have their own account, but I think Google's ToS doesn't allow anyone under 16 - I think...

    Edit-

    It's 13.

I aplogize for lack of clarity.

The icon appears on my Win 10 laptop when I use Google.

The actual installation and setup of Qustodio and Google Family Link was done on my granddaughter's (GD) iPhone. Some work was done in GD account. Other work was done in my (Parent) account on her iPhone. After that, management and monitoring is done from my own Win 10 laptop laptop until she's at least 13 years old.

That's what I did with other grandchildren. But I've never seen any of their account icons on my laptop.

Up till an hour ago, when I did a Google search, the default icon at top right was GD icon. I could change to my own account in that tab with 2 clicks - but launching a new tab or a new browser instance could re-present the GD icon.

BTW: At the moment, the issue seems to be solved by the following steps:

    - Close every browser except one.
    - Close every tab except one.
    - Change to my own account in that tab.
    - Close the last browser.

(Note: Cutting corners in any of these steps causes the GD icon to persist.)

    - Restart laptop

    Thanks
