User account password change

I recently reset pc and now have an admin account -- I created a standard account - it did not ask me to set up a password so I can't change it - no window comes up for password change. I used another email address (required) and tried using the password for that but no deal. Is there a workaround for this. I don't want to use admin account all the time. Thanks. 22h2

Not following, are you locked out or asking about why it is not wanting a password. A Admin account still has certain controls to protect the system. Using a standard account means that anytime you want to install or make changes to the system you have to go through a couple of hurdles that get old.
