    Change Windows log in Password

    Hi,
I'm running Windows 10 version 22H2 64bit with all updates.
I'm relatively new to windows 10 and have a fairly simple question...
I want to change the password used log on to windows when my laptop starts up...

I looked on the internet and found this.........
    Change or manage your password
To change your password, go to Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options. Select Password, and then select Change.

However, when I follow this procedure there is no 'Password' option on the Sign-in options screen...
I would really appreciate any advice as to how I can change my log-in password....

    Thank You

    Hello Bill, and welcome.

If this is for a Microsoft account, be sure to turn off Require Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts below to have the password sign-in option available on the sign-in screen.

Enable or Disable Passwordless Sign-in for Microsoft Accounts
