Removed Microsoft Account but still shows picture

Hi, I always use Windows 10 without a Microsoft account, or any account for that matter. I wanted to test a Microsoft Edge feature that required to sign in, so I did using my hotmail account. After doing so I realized that Windows OS and Office apps were all signed in too. So after testing I signed out of the account in Edge, I also removed the account using Start/Settings/Accounts/Email&Accounts and removing the account. I verified that the account was removed by using the Netplwiz command as outlined here and I only see my local Administrator account (the removed account does not show). Even after doing all this, the Microsoft account's profile picture that I used in Edge is still showing in the main START menu. How can I completely remove all traces of this account including the profile picture? Before this mess the START menu only displayed the generic account picture

    No, you don't.
Whatever makes you think that you are using it without any account is an illusion.

As for your current problem, I suggest you restore your previous system image.

    Best of luck,

Well, both in Netplwiz and in Local Users and Groups there is no trace of the Microsoft Account I removed. None of the Office Apps or Edge is signed in either. And the Microsoft Account shows no linked or registered device. So the only trace of the Microsoft Account is the profile picture that I changed by linking it to the previous Local account picture that was stored in the AppData folder.
