Administrator Account Problem

    Oh well, all sorted now by doing a Re-Install......perhaps if I had read the replies correctly I could have made life easier.......changing to a Standard Account is not a mistake I will make again.......Thanks for the replies.........

    Denis and I both recommend creating a new local account and making it an administrator. It's always useful to have more than one administrator account in case of emergencies like yours.

    The method for creating a local Admin account is explained in the Clean install tutorial

    and I always create two spare local Admins in addition to any that are routinely in use
