    CurrentUser (string value) shows USERNAME

Hi all. in "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control" There is a string value key called "CurrentUser" in that key it says "USERNAME" ChatGPT said by default it should not have anything in that key at all. My Win username is not USERNAME. So why does it not show my name? Can you guys check if it's empty on your Windows 10 Pro or if it also says USERNAME? You are not the first to find that ChatGPT has provided the wrong info.

I also have USERNAME in that entry. I am on Windows 10 Home.

The same key exists in W7.

If you believe this site, it's a legacy placeholder.
