    I tried to remove a user profile...

    I tried to remove a user profile by going to the Control Panel/user Account It disappeared in the CP/user accounts but the user account is still shown in the File Explorer as it was. What gives? Can I delete it from the C:/users folder or will this cause a problem?

    Please post a screenshot to illustrate this for clarity.

    Is the account stll shown on the login screen?

    Thanks.

    Thanks guys I was able to remove the user account as below;
    To Delete User Profile of an Account in Advanced System Properties
    User Profiles/ Settings

    The user profile name was not there so I looked for a “ Account Unknown” with similar MB as my account and deleted it. Then looked at C:/users and the account was gone. I can remove all the "Account Unknown" above But later I am late leaving now.
