    Default save location while using UAC


    Hello
    I recently reinstalled Windows 10 and after creating the admin and sub accounts, I noticed saving certain files that require admin privileges are defaulting to the admin profile (even file explorer's theme is changed) while in standard user. I don't recall this happening before, is this something new? Can I set the default location to the user I'm logged in as?

    When you give Admin permission to proceed for a task then you are actually operating as the Admin user who gave the authorisation.

    Most applications will remember save locations used so if you use SaveAs and browse to the folder you really want to use then it should remember it next time.

    I don't know why you wrote, "the admin and sub accounts". If you merely meant, "an admin and some Standard accounts" then fine.
