Removing some of these settings are being managed by your organisation

How do I remove the "some of these settings are being managed by your organisation" statement in Windows 10 21H2. i have not set one up and this is a personal computer.
I've tried steps 2 and 5 from this article and it doesn't work.
I can't use Group Policy Editor as I don't have the Professional edition of Windows 10.

I don't know the author of the article you followed, but it is completely out of scope.

But if you have Windows Pro use the policy editor to verify your WU settings. Or if you used a third party software to control updates, you should use it to modify it's settings.

I'm not sure about the "are hidden or" part in your message. When I block updates with GPOs only, it looks like this.

And you don't have the "View configured policy" link available.

It doesn't say that for Windows Update for me.
Also I don't have that link either.

Your response references Windows Update. O.P. references Apps & Features.

Thanks @Garyw, My brain was catching up after OP's response...

I only know of options to defer, Apps & Features updates. Not to completely block them.

    Same here!
p.s. I don't think the O.P. is referring to updating Apps.

Yeah, it could also be some, GPO to prevent the installation of some applications.

But since "Anywhere" is selected... But seems greyed out... the "Organization" seem to be pretty loose on their policies.

This bring me back to a third party program used.

Hi, that message, as I assume you know, means that 1 or more registry values have been set by you or a tweak tool for example to the equivalent of a group policy setting.

You may be able to identify the policies set by getting a copy of Policy Plus (free, Google it) and using the filter options to select only configured policies, and examining those.

It lists mine, but I have Pro and these were set using the GP editor.
