    Move Users Folder location

    Hey everybody,

My windows version is WIN 10 Home, version 21H1 and build 19043.1466

I'm trying to relocate my users folder.
I'm following the tutorial video method 2.

In copying the code to notepad as instructed I see a difference in the code on the site and in the video.
In the video I see a line between </settings> and </unattend> wich is not shown int the code on the site.
Do I have to include that line manually or not?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi, Welcome to TenForums,

@Kari is certainly the specialist to clarify this point.

    Willy,

I suggest you post your question in the tutorial thread itself. The people subscribed to that thread are probably the best people to advise you.

    Best of luck,

And from what I've seen happen I'd leave the Users folder on the same disk or partition Windows is installed on but move some of the subfolders such as Documents, Downloads, etc., causes much less issues. And some programs are written to look for the default location of folders during their installation.

You might get more ideas if you could say why you wish to do this. What is the problem you're trying to solve? Thanks.
