We can't sign into your account: temporary account

Hi all,

I'm on Windows 10 HOME 21H2 with a Local Account, and when I sign in it comes with the above error. I've tried booting in safe mode to that account and all of my preferences and files are there. But when I restart (twice) it has signed me into the temporary account when not in safe mode.

I managed to fix it. The fix is simple, just press Win + R, type Regedit, click YES and navigate to
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList then delete any folder with a key named 'ProfileImagePath': Value TEMP something. Then, on the one with 'ProfileImagePath's value being your username, delete .bak of the end of the folder by renaming it.
