So what I need to do is transfer all folders inside D:\WpSystem.old\S-1-5-21-3946157203-3804477442-1580026413-1007\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftEducationEdition_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Minecraft Education Edition\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds which is where new minecraft is installed.

If S-1-5-21-3946157203-3804477442-1580026413-1007 is the SID for the previous user account, why do you want to copy to a completely different filepath rather than the filepath represented by the SID for C:\Users\Username? Are you using a different version of Minecraft, e.g. the Store UWP version rather than a Windows Installer version?

Close.. I'm using the exe installer rather than the store UWP last time. Everything is the same apart from the filepath. (including the world file setup)

    UPDATE

    Hi all.
Thanks for all the comments on this thread - probably becoming the longest on this forum by now!!

Most thank yous - @RickC @MaloK for helping so much. And thanks to @Ghot @Berton @Bobby Phoenix @SIW2 for your thoughtful contributions.

I'm currently in a state where I have no clue what to do. This is seven pages of fixes that haven't worked. Do I abandon it?

The thing I currently need to do is copy over all folders from D:\WpSystem.old\S-1-5-21-3946157203-3804477442-1580026413-1007\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftEducationEdition_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds to the new folder where (new) Minecraft Education Edition is stored (C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Minecraft Education Edition\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds).

When I attempt to do this, I get the following error:

    Attachment 356500

It's worth noting the files inside these folders appear to be locked (most of them):

    Attachment 356492
