Change "Owner" in c:\Users to my name

Had to get a new PC but the name in C:\users is "Owner." How can I change it to my name as shown in Control Panel User Accounts. I'm running W10 Pro version 21H1 OS build 19043.1348. I was able to do this in W7 after a HD crash and reinstallation. One problem is when I print to Adobe Acrobat, it picks up "Owner."

The easy way is to create a new local account in the name you want, make it an administrator, then use that instead, moving your user files over to the new account. If you haven't started using the PC much yet, then it is the simplest and best option. You could then delete the Owner account, or keep it as a 'spare' for use if you ever get locked out of your main account. I always have at least two administrator accounts on all my PCs.

If you have used it for a while, done a lot of configuring on the account and don't want to start over again, then it is possible to change the name of the user folder. Though its not a straight forward task and requires editing the registry.
