    SOLVED: Removing my administrator account

I'm giving away my old Win10 laptop. I've reset Windows which deleted all my files. Finally, I need to delete my own administrator account so that no trace of my ownership remains. How?

You do NOT want to delete the only administrator account on the PC. Doing so means the new owner will not be able to maintain the PC, create users, or install software.

What you should do is first create a new local account with a blank password and make it an administrator. Then you can sign in to that account and delete your original account.

Add Local Account or Microsoft Account in Windows 10

Change Account Type in Windows 10
