Setting up log in with no password
i would like to start my laptop up and it to simply open at the desktop if anyone cqan advise how?
This is complicated by th4e fact that I have been trying to set up a Remote Desktop Connectio from my PC to my laptop. I have sole use of these no other users involved.
If I boot the laptop the first thing I see is The username or password is incorrect. Try again. The username is my username but the image is missing. If I hit OK, then it asks for the password I have no idea what its expecting but it doesn't accept my Microsoft account password.
In the bottom left corner there are 2 accounts showing. Both with my name but one has my correct image the other the windows icon for the image.
Winver is Windows 10 PRO "!H1
If I then select the account with my image it asks for the password, and it asks for thew password and it accepts the Microsoft account password and I am through to the desktop.
If once in I go to user accounts the only one showing is me with the correct image icon.
I tried to do system restore as in trying to set up RDC I have made several regedits and gpedits , however I upgraded the laptop a couple of days ago with new SSD and more RAM aand then had to reinstall windows. Hence there is no restore point to restore to, so its in quite a mess.
Windows version is Windows 10 PRO ver. 21H1
Any suggestions?
