    How to change email/organization associated with user account


    I made an admin user account on my computer, but I used a school email. I would like to change this to a personal email and not have it connected to my university anymore. Is this possible? If not could anyone provide info on how to copy account info over to a new one, I am having some trouble. Windows 10.

    The process would be to first switch your account to a local account, then to switch that to a Microsoft account using your own email. See these Ten Forums tutorials. Or you could, if you wish, just use a local account. An MS account has some advantages, but it is not compulsory to have one.
