Okay Sensei, time to get me set up as administrator. My current login is via the Microsoft login account.

Didn't I want to disable the hidden Admin. Isn't that 11 to disable?

    Try again
    - only press the delete key once [or you'll delete the 02 entry as well]
    - type 10 [not 11]

When you get to adding the new accounts, make them local accounts

You are trying to enable it.

It was 11 [or 15] when you got there. You want to change it to 10.

I thought I wanted to disable the internal Admin, so I could add or remove apps, etc.

You are enabling it because you are then going to use its authority to create two additional Admin accounts for you to use to install apps etc.

OH OH. I'm on our other computer now. I changed the 11 to 10 and restarted my computer. It looks like a brand new windows 10. My desktop, pictures, documents are gone.

    They are not gone.
I'll add an explanation in a minute.
    - Just as Bob & you have separate user accounts and separate Desktops etc, so does the Built-in Admin account that you have now logged into.
    - When you have finished and are logging back into Bob & Linda then you'll see your desktop, pictures, documents again.

Go ahead and create two new password-protected, local, Admin accounts. Now. While you are logged in to the Built-in Admin account.

Step 2 - Create one [or two] additional local admin accounts
Add Local Account ... - TenForumsTutorials
Change to Admin account type - TenForumsTutorials
Write down the passwords somewhere secure yet accessible.
    - I always create two additional admin accounts so I know one will always work even if the other becomes corrupt.

Step 3 - Log into one of the new admin accounts
    - This is just to test it & to use it for Step 4

Step 4 - Disable the built-in admin account [same tutorial as Step 1]
    ... Disable Built-In Administrator account - TenForumsTutorials
    - You can now use any of the Options to do this. Option 1 is probably simplest because you can just copy what you need from the tutorial.
    - You can now log out of the admin account and back into Bob or Linda.

From now on, whenever you need to carry out a function that requires admin status, you can enter the name & password of either of the new accounts you have just made.

    Best of luck,
    Denis
