    ownership

does anyone here know about this https://www.preyerplanning.com/take-...-windows-7.pdf

there's different versions of these steps online

this is how to have ownership of whole drive
or at least one of the ways
it's very complicated and i may have missed something somewhere ill try again

    im looking for
    - a simplier way to get ownership of whole drive
    - or a app that makes it so you get ownership of whole drive

know of either 1 or 2?

just want to get this done already, cant find any helpful answers for this

No, ther isn't really a simpler way. Those instructions were for Win7, but it's the same process in Win10. This is only something you should do on a drive that is NOT the one you run Window from, for example to access data on a drive that came from another computer. Your link says:

IMPORTANT: Do not try this on your own C:\ drive (boot drive). It will change so many permissions that you will end up having to re-install windows.

As does Brink in this tutorial.

Do not change the owner of your Windows drive (ex: C: ). Doing so could result in Windows becoming very unstable.

Change Owner of File, Folder, Drive, or Registry Key in Windows 10

I hope you don't mind but I suggest that you explain what you want to achieve, what benefit you want to receive, so that you can get some guidance on alternative approaches to the issue.

    All the best,
