"fixes" not working to bypass picture and login screen in 21H1 Win 10

Can't delete the Password option in "Signin Options", can't use the Policy Editor fix, Regedit either. I don't know what else to try. I started early this a.m. and now I'm out of info I can find online.

Can someone help me, I must be missing something,

Thanks in advance for any help. Also, where I should see the check box in User Accounts, it doesn't seem to exist in this version. The box you can uncheck for user not to have to put in password on startup.

See this tutorial. In Option One you can use Netplwiz to sign in automatically. There is a note abut that missing checkbox. You need to turn off passwordless sign-in to see it.

If you turned on Require Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts (aka: passwordless sign-in), you will not see the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer check box.

Sign in User Account Automatically at Windows 10 Startup

Ok Bree, pretty sure I went that route, but I'll try again

Make sure you turn off passwordless sign-in before you try runing Netplwiz. You should then see the check-box.

Ok, you had it just right, as I hadn't gone back in to see if that check box in User Accounts was back in. It was, so I unchecked it. On restart it bypassed that picture screen but got held up at login, because I'd changed the password. I know I have to go back in and fix that now in the User Account :) I'll be back after that hopefully works out Thanks so much Bree!!

Oops, I don't fix that in User Accounts. I need to delete password, or disable. Can't remember where now? I am alone, no one else has access to my puter so I don't need a password

I got it Bree, had to go back in, check the box, close it, reopen, uncheck it and fill in my password. Shutdown, go back in, sign in, the restart again, and it was fixed. Couldn't they make it a bit more complicated for us, LOL!!

Thank you so much though, I was close but no cigar without your help Denise
