The monthly surprize has arrived ...

    Hello everyone,

Since last CU last week I noticed that in some MS apps, connected to my MS account the account picture is missing. Interesting to mention is that this is not happening in all apps. To be more clear, I am posting a screenshot, where you, guys can see:

So far, in Start menu, Cortana, Photos, Edge, Sticky Notes and Xbox apps the account picture is showing right. In the rest of the apps, it is just empty, no picture /as in the screenshot/.
What is that and what should I do?
    Winver: 19043.1055

Thanks to all who will respond.

Have you clicked the icon and added your account to the app?

Edit, same for me with the Films & TV app. Tried signing out and in again but not working.

    Thanks, Fabler2

It is already added. Everything was fine after the clean install 2 weeks ago but started to be missing after the latest CU:

I don’t think the CU is too blame. We have the same issue. I think it is more down to a server issue at MS. if I use a browser to login to my account on any device (iOS, Mac OS, windows etc) the pictures are all gone. My families pictures all gone too. Trying to upload a new one does nothing. The generic icon remains. I raised on feedback app but I swear MS pays no attention. Also trying to tweet Microsoft helps but they are ignoring. I guess if enough of us tweet we might get heard. But this is pretty lame again from Microsoft

Yeah Scottyboy, more likely you are right. I tried also to get in my account - the picture is missing and a new one can't be uploaded. Hopefully they will fix that soon. But it is not the point: I am really amazed how MS can reach to the point Windows 10 and still making all those small faults everytime, like this one. Total negligence.
