Microsoft account pictures

Are people noticing they have vanished today? When I open up store app on the pc usually can see my face in a circle in upper right. But it is now showing a generic icon there instead. Noticing it across other native apps (films for example). Logged in via edge to Microsoft acc and my usual picture is now blank. Been like this all day. Noticed exactly the same for my other family members. Their pics are not showing either. I’m thinking this must be a glitch at MS end. I realise it’s cosmetic and doesn’t affect much but it looks pretty naff. Wondered what others have noticed ?

Thanks. I tried that but nothing doing. I also logged into account via edge and tried to change it there but it remains generic/blank. It's happening for other family on other PCs so there must be some wider problem. Wonder if you see your pic if you login to MS account via browser as it could be cached. Could be regional issue perhaps.

Maybe. I’m more inclined to think it’s a problem at MS end. It just looks a bit poor with the generic icon now in many of the native apps. It’s also generic if you login to Microsoft account in a browser .ie. edge

i tweeted Microsoft helps but they are about as much good as a chocolate fireguard. They have no idea and suggested I reinstall windows. They haven’t got a clue. This is the big problem when stuff like this happens. There is no way to get at Microsoft properly beyond their hopeless front line support with canned scripts
