    Administrator issue in windows 10

    Hi,
ever since I've upgraded into windows 10 i got permission issues.
windows 10 is installed in C (which is SSD) and i got another hard drive D.

whenever i try to delete file in D i get the following error:
"You'll need to provide administrator permission to delete this file"

Or, when i use photoshop to import a file into D - the operation fails.
if i open PS as an admin (right click -> run as administrator) - everything is fine.

if i do the above operation in C - everything is ok.

my user, as far as i can see, is in the administrator group (and it's the only user in fact)

does anyone has any ideas what to check ? what is the problem ?

    thanks!

I think you may want to check file/folder permissions thoroughly. W10 seems very picky about this. In theory you are an administrator, but in practice sometimes you are lacking the relevant permissions.

I have UAC turned off. How is yours?

    Should have listened to Granny

Nothing is free she said, and so it is with me and Windows 10. After issues with missing icons, corrupted programs, printing failures and administrator rights, I opted out and went back to windows 7. Only problem is the administrative rights issues have hitched a ride back to my 7's environment. Is this a windows 10 issue , a win 7 issue or do I need to find a solution through a command prompt?
