Forcing Log Off with task manager

    I followed the instructions to the Letter but it failed to work ??? wouldnt even logoff when left open

    Ok I got it to work had to change couple things..
    1) Under general> Run only when user is logged on
    2) Under Actions> entered the complete path with the browse button

    Even if you lock your computer it still takes the idle time to complete.

    Please, could you explain that? What do you mean with "entered the complete path with the browse button"? I have not a faintest clue about what do you mean with it!

    Did he mean C:\Windows\System32? Shutdown.exe are on the System32 folder.

    One possibility is that when creating a task using the Task Scheduler GUI, you are asked to enter the executable in one box and the parameters or "switches" in another and if that isn't done, the task may not execute properly.

    I did the full path of the shutdown.exe "C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe"
