    Hello @Odd , welcome to Ten Forums.

    Open the registry editor, and go here...

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

    Set ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin to one of the following values...

    0 = Elevate without prompting
    1 = Prompt for credentials on the secure desktop
    2 = Prompt for consent on the secure desktop
    3 = Prompt for credentials
    4 = Prompt for consent
    5 = Prompt for consent for non-Windows binaries (default)

    Mine are set as follows...

    ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin = 0

    ConsentPromptBehaviorUser = 3

    The only other thing I can think of is just turn UAC off. That's where mine is set...

    Rather than let Microsoft worry about my "security", I just use backup software.
    Namely... Macrium Reflect (free or paid)

    Do you mean it gives an error message even if you have entered the correct password?

    Yes. The same email on both.
    Admin -> Sign in -> finished
    Odd (Normal user): PIN -> finished

    both the email password and PIN on normal user is not working on "Run as administrator".

    Can you create a new standard user account, e.g. Odd_2, and see whether the same error will arise?

    This?

    Admin -> Add an account -> Email & accounts -> Accounts used by email, calendar and contacts:
    username: odd2@gmail.com
    pwd: same password

    Admin -> Control Panel\User Accounts\User Accounts\Manage Accounts -> Add a new user in PC settings -> Other users -> Add someone else to this PC -> Local Users and Groups: This snapin may not be used with this edition of Windows 10. To manage user accounts for this computer, use the User Accounts tool in the control panel.

    How did you create your "normal user" account? Use the same method to create another "normal user" account with a different user name, e.g. Odd_2.
