Cannot get into windows after bios update.

So I did windows update that had a bios update. All was good till pc restarted. Tried to put in pin but pin was deleted due to new security feature. So To set up new pin I have to put in password for the live account I guess I set up when setting up pc for first time. It shows email ( which not one I've used anywhere else) but I must have set it up because it's associated with my old number ( old number ). So I cannot get into my pc now. I've tried submitting a request for reset through microsoft reset site and it's pointless. I have no info on the account because I literally only set it up to get through the first time set up on pc. And after them telling me 2 or 3 times that they do not have enough info to reset it it finally said I'd sent to many requests. So I've tried to contact support via phone which is impossible, cannot get a real person which is what I need so I can explain. I cannot do anything on my pc now, can't system restore, cannot command prompt, safe mode doesn't work either because no matter where I go it will still ask for that password to start whatever process I'm trying to start. This is ridiculous. I cannot get into anything to say what version it is, just updated it last night

Hi thanks for reply. I don't know how to enable/ disable anything at this point. It will not allow me to do anything. If I start in safe mode and or start-up menu and go to recovery options, it'll give me a few things like command prompt. But when I click command prompt it shows my name ( account name ) and if I click that it takes me to " please enter your password for .......@ outlook.com". This is what I get no matter where I go. I cannot even reset it without this being asked. The windows on here was preinstalled when I bought pc from best buy. I have alot of my crested music on here and really do not want to lose it. I do not understand why I have to sign in to a microsoft account to get into my own personal computer.

Option 5 where? Sorry obviously I'm a newbie at this



You don't but Windows makes it awkward to do otherwise. The new user account I suggested can be a local one instead of an MS one.
- If you ever reinstall Windows then you can also make a local account instead of an MSAccount by running the installation whilst disconnected from the internet.

The first priority must be getting in to the computer using the Built-in Admin. And then you can use -

Which includes -
Add Local Account or Microsoft Account - TenForumsTutorials
Change to Admin account type- TenForumsTutorials
You can make this new user account a local one.
- Once you are done, you will want to copy all your files from the old account to the new one. You can ask about that when you are ready - the first priority must be getting in to the computer.
- And do consider making the spare ones I mentioned afterwards. They can help you avoid having to enable the Built-in Admin.

I guess I'm missing something here because I see the step 5 in the link but I don't see what I'm supposed to do first as you said. What I need to do to even start this. I'm not used to having to do any of this so I do apologize for being slow at it
