    New Windows 10 PC

When I activated my Windows 10, I had to give it Password and PIN number.

Now I would like to not have to input either. Right now it only asks for the PIN (not sure why)

I was told run "netplwiz", then find "User must enter user name and password" and uncheck that box.

    Here is what I see:

As you can see there is nothing there about entering user names and passwords.

    Any suggestions? Thanks

    See

If you turned on Require Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts (aka: passwordless sign-in) [at Settings, Accounts, Sign-in options], you will not see the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer check box.

    Have a look at these . . .

    I agree with the others.

Do also have a look at Bree's short comment on the subject at Bree about netplwiz checkbox post #3 - TenForums
