    Log in to mS issue

I am logged into Windows 10 and have no password required. I am trying to turn on sync settings with another W10. So I try and log in using my Microsoft account and it doesn't accept my password which I know to be correct. I even reset password and used the new password which works on all other MS stuff like live or Onedrive.

    Hi, have you removed this?
    and have no password required.
Depending on your situation, one or more of these may help:
Change Account Password in Windows 10
Reset Password of User Account in Windows 10
How to Tell if Local Account or Microsoft Account in Windows 10
Switch to Microsoft Account in Windows 10

You can reset your MS account password on line only by accessing your account.

Note you can only sync settings between PCs using a MS account.
Enable or Disable Sync Your Settings in Windows 10

No it is still in no password. Is that the issue? I have no password on my PC with W10 and synch is enabled.

    Thank you for your reply.

You can still use passwordless login with an MS account.. but like this:
Enable or Disable Passwordless Sign-in for Microsoft Accounts

And It should be possible to skip login with an MS account: see
Sign in User Account Automatically at Windows 10 Startup

Or, really; as you can't use both of those at the same time?

I wasn't trying to imply any logical connection, merely adding another statement. Sorry for the confusion arising for any logicians posed by my poor style.

How? How are you getting "logged into Windows 10" without a password. Is this a local account?

I assume this is a "different" machine that does require a login with a Microsoft Account?

BTW - Windows 10 sign-in options and account protection.

No my other W10 on PC doesn't require password and has sync turned on
My laptop (here) is also no password but I can't turn on sync.

Didn't really answer the question as I still don't know what you're doing so I asks this....

Are you using a Microsoft Account and do you have Passwordless Sign-in for Microsoft Account enabled?

BTW: Enable or Disable Syncing Passwords in Windows 10 Sync Your Settings
