Can't log into accounts, among other things

Just recently, I’ve been having trouble with access to sites. The most serious case is with my online access to my bank’s checking account. I’ve never had a problem in the past, but a couple days ago I logged in and kept getting error messages saying I’m entering incorrect username/password. I know this was not true because thepassword is a random set of characters that I copy/paste from a document. So I called my bank and told them about this, and they said they were having technical difficulties at that time, but now everything is ok. Then yesterday, I tried again and got an error message similar to this:
Access Denied You don’t have permission to access (name of site) on this server.”
Then I tried logging in with my VPN turned on, and got the same message. I thought maybe if it was a “server” problem, then using a VPN might solve the problem.
On the same day, I kept getting 403 Error messages when attempting to do Google searches. When I then tried to google, “403 Error” to find out what it means, I got another 403 Error as a result.
Is there any solution to these denial of access errors, or is this garbage happening all across the internet?

Try logging in using a couple of different browsers and see if you get the same results.

I tried opening Edge, but it won't even open up for me to use it.
I've been using Chrome. Is there a way to fix Chrome if it's the problem?

Clear your browsers Cache. If you haven't already, Upgrade to the new Edge Chromium.

I'll make sure to clear the cache. Also, I finally got Edge to come up after a very long wait, and after closing Chrome. I managed to log into my checking account and get my bills paid.

Is Edge Chromium better than Google Chrome? They would seem to think so, considering the name they gave it. :)

Glad to hear you got it sorted. Anytime you have problems loading web pages, first start by clearing the browsers cache.
Microsoft took a page from Google Chrome and rebuilt Edge with the Chromium engine much like all other modern browsers. Edge Chromium have been included in the Windows 10 Upgrades since version 2004. If your Windows 10 OS is upgraded you will be using it already, no need to upgrade the browser.

It sure started slowly. I think I'll stick with Chrome.
