Cannot find or remove second login user.

Setting up my new HP laptop to not having to login at startup with my password and have accidently setup another version of me.

But somehow another account has appeared at startup with part of my email address to which I do not know the password.
I can click onto my windows account and loin with either password or pin.

I cannot find this other setup in accounts or family etc.

Any clues/tips where/how I can find/remove this other account I accidently started in Windows 10 Pro latest version.

The first step is to run this command
    Code:
    net user
to get a list of UserNames [user account names] on the computer.

Ignore any entries for: Administrator, DefaultAccount, defaultuser0, Guest , WDAGUtilityAccount

For other entries, run this command for each one of the remaining UserNames listed above [I'll use Fred as an example]
    Code:
    net user Fred
In the response, you'll see an entry for Full name for every MSAccount-linked user account. If Full name is blank then it must be a local account.

Then you will have to decide, based on what you've seen in the net user results, whether "somehow another account has appeared" is just an additional, albeit weird entry at startup for your normal user account or is really an additional user account.
    - If just an additional entry at startup then search TenForums for additional account appears on login screen or similar because I know this topic has been reported & solved before.
    - If it is really an additional user account I will eat my hat [or a cake].

Thanks, went through the setting up again. I'd forgot to fill my password to authorise the change.

Understood. Actually I returned to this thread to say that I thought the previous reports of this had been because of problems entering a password in NetPlWiz [I wasn't able to find relevant threads but that is what I recall being the explanation].

    All the best,
