    No Option To Enter Password

This is a strange one. The login option to enter my password is not present when my PC is started cold, from sleep etc. I am running version E0H2 (OS Build 19042.685) and using Defender for security. I can login with my fingerprint or pin but not my password. Help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I don't have Fingerprint or any other Windows Hello options available, but it sounds like Password is disabled requiring you to be physically there to sign in, no remote using PW. To keep the bad guys out. Check this setting in Settings>Account and see if it's ON. set it off to see if you get the option for PW.

Enable or Disable Passwordless Sign-in for Microsoft Accounts

That worked. This isn't the first time you have bailed me out, and it is most appreciated.

By the way, were you really an F-14 pilot? Just curious ...

Glad that helped. It was a S.W.A.G. No, unforutnately. Bit too old and infirmities would have grounded me anyway. Just love flying!

LOL ... I am old myself. When I saw Top Gun in 1986, I wanted to be a fighter pilot! But my mother reminded me that I get sick on a roller coaster! Have a good one today!
