    No option to take ownership

    Hi,
    Win10 Ver 1909 Build 18363.1198

I have folder icons that look like this:
    No option to take ownership-capture1.jpg
All folders with the arrow, return '... Application Data is not accessible . Access Denied" when accessed.
I don't have context menu that offers take owner ship.
    I've run 'Add_Change_Owner_to_context_menu' But...
    No option to take ownership-capture-2.jpg
I have a separate admin account and I'm working from my regular account but I'm not prompted to UAC (admin Password)

So I need help getting access to all my files. Actually I have access to all my files just not from all the various file folders such as the folders in C: users/Documents and Settings or Quick accessocuments/My Music.
    Thanks,
    Marc

    @marcmoran

While I am definitely NOT recommending you "Take Ownership" of those folders that are actually shortcuts...
Winaero Tweaker can add "Take Ownership" to the context menu of everything.

    Marc,

Those items are not shortcuts even though that's what they look like. If you display the Attributes column you'll see that they are System-controlled 'reparse points' - commonly referred to as 'junctions' but the correct name for each type can be reviewed in the background info links at the end of this post.

C:\Documents and Settings is also a System-controlled 'junction'.

There is nothing you can do with them. There would be no point trying to get ownership.

You can list the junctions on your computer using this command
    Code:
    dir c:\ /al /s
