Locked out and red tinted screen after update

After the last windows 10 update my computer screen would randomly get a red tint, but restarting my computer made it go away. After a few days the red tint just stayed. I also noticed that closed windows would still be slightly visible in the background in a green tint. I looked at some forums to try to solve the problem and nothing was working. So I used Restoro to do a scan and then hopefully fix the problem. Once Restoro got to 99% it stopped loading and was clearly stuck. Restoro's troubleshooting said to just restart the program again, so I did. That wasn't working so the program suggested restarting my computer in safe mode, so I did. Once my computer restarted it asked me to sign in, however, it didn't have the option for the picture login, which is the only way I use to login. Since I couldn't remember my regular password or PIN, I had to login to my Microsoft account from my phone and reset my password and PIN. Now when I try to use my new password or PIN to sign in to my computer it says it's the wrong password. My computer is connected to the internet, so that isn't part of the problem with the new password. All the ways I have looked up to reset the local password haven't worked because my computer still wants a password to let me do anything within the Advanced Options. It also wants a password for "reset this pc". The only option I think is left is to reboot my computer with a disk? But I don't have a disk, my computer doesn't have a disk drive, and that seems to be the very last resort, so I'm hoping there is a better way. I'm really at a loss here for what to do. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Did MS send you a code on your cell phone? If they did, you can enter that code to where they want you to sign in... once your in your computer change your password and/or enter your pin.
