MS Account Sign-In on Desktop on Booting up every time - how to remove

I've upgraded my Win 8/8.1 laptop to Windows 10 and it seems to be running well.

However, on booting up, I now get a window appear on the desktop asking me to Sign In to my MS Account. I can click on the cross at top right hand corner to close the window but I'd rather it didn't appear in the first place.

I don't have to log in when booting up, because I have chosen not to so I don't really want this window either.

What are the implications if I do signup/in? I do have an MS account so that's not the issue. I'd prefer not to have MS intruding on everything I do. I am happy to sign in if I want to go to the store but, otherwise, I don't see any reason for signing in.

Hopefully, someone can suggest how I can be rid of this window?

Many thanks for help and advice. It is much appreciated

Hello Energise, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

It sounds like you are currently signing in with a Microsoft account, and the message is asking you to sign in to verify.

    Thanks, Brink
I'm too tired to take all that in and to understand it so it'll have to wait for another day when my brain is working a bit better.
    Cheers
