Password and Safe Modes Issues

Hello good people,

My name is Orlando and I’m from Melbourne, Australia. Hope someone can offer some advice on the following problem I’m struggling with.

When signing in to Windows 10 during initial booting up process, my password is not being recognised and informing me as incorrect. It hasn’t changed for 2 years. Researching this highlighted this is not a highly unique problem and solutions offered obviously began with rebooting in safe mode. When doing this and reaching Advanced Options:Startup Settings followed by the options page. Pressing 4 or F4 simply reboots computer but not in safe mode and I’m back to where I started. And so this cycle goes around and around.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
