Unable set auto login (W10 home 20H2 build 19042.572)

I wish to set auto login (for both start-up as well as resume from standby/suspend) on Windows 10 home, 20H2 build 19042.572 version, as well as remove the lock screen.

The user account is administrator and the password is blank.

At this point I have removed the lock screen by creating

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software/Policies/Microsoft/Windows/Personalization/NoLockScreen=1

however, the sign-in button screen is still offered (which is meaningless as the password is blank.)

From what searching I've done (including on www.tenforums.com), I expected to find an option in netplwiz (as has existed in prior windows versions) or in settings>sign-in options>. Neither has an option that lets me set auto login-in behavior. I also tried recommendation in posting 11129 (powercfg as administrator); these did not alter the current behavior.

I am uncertain as to where I should post this, so please move the posting to the appropriate place in tenforums.

    Thank you.

    Success!

    The article's first suggestion:

"Require Windows Hello Sign-in for Microsoft Accounts
    OR
    Make your device passwordless"

didn't help as neither option was offered there.

    The article's second suggestion:

    "Now go to following key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\PasswordLess\Device
    3. In right-side pane, look for DevicePasswordLessBuildVersion DWORD.
The value of this DWORD would be set to 2 in your device.
Double-click on DevicePasswordLessBuildVersion and change its value to 0"

fixed the issue. After making that change, netplwiz option returned and I was able to set it and verify the system is now working as I intended.

THANK YOU - I'm sure I would not have found this on my own - this fixes quite a frustration!

    Thank you again!
