To determine if you actually created a "MS Account" or Local Account, suggest you go to Settings > Accounts.
You can then see if it says Local or Microsoft is signed in. As for logging out or in, right click on Start button bottom left corner and log off....same as always ?
I'm there. There is nothing specifically stating that I'm clearly sign in one way or the other.

I have no idea what you mean by "Local account is not a email address"

Ok. I went to the address you stated. I found the log out in the far right corner next to my screen name and email. You have to click on the Face icon.
    Thank you

Yes exactly I had the same information that you've got squared in red before I was actually logged out. What your showing does not prove your not logged in. Check my screen shot I took before I actually logged out. Same as yours. But I was still logged in. Probably MS's way of con-ning the user into thinking there not onliine.

And the Forum Room "User Accounts" refers to MS Accounts or TenForum accounts ?

What my pic is showing is that a user named ADMIN is logged in just like your pic is showing MOORE is logged in. That's what the Your Info tab in the Accounts section is for or perhaps I am misunderstanding you !

Another thing that bothered me was I didn't find anywhere to turn off or on the Cloud backup. I found no switches or button for any of the MS acc features. So I was suspicious that it was automatically backing up my data without telling me.

Your screen shot gives the same info as mine. They both say (sign in with MS acc instead) right ? Giving the impression your not signed into the MS acc. But I was already. I had been for 15 minutes regardless if I opened and closed this window.

I just made a new wordpad document but it seems I'm STILL on the MS online account even though I clearly logged out.

Is ONE DRIVE uploading my data against my wish or without my knowledge or consent ?

You are on the site called "tenforums" and in the "User- Accounts-family safety" part of the forum. This isn't part of your Microsoft Account.
