command to Turn off UAC prompts on specific Apps

I have tested an application called Louts note version 5 on my Win 10 V 1909 and it is working fine except one small annoying issue. There is a file nupdate.exe is pop up from time to time.

Is there a CMD or PowerShell command to turn off UAC or to disable this nupdate.exe please.

Hi, Lotus notes version 5 is very old - why not simply try renaming nupdate.exe to e.g. nupdate-disabled.exe?

You could also inspect your scheduled tasks and see if it is launched from there- then disable the task.

Right-click on the Start button -->Windows PowerShell (Admin)
    Run the following command:

    Get-ScheduledTask "*update*"

You can stop UAC for an app by using task scheduler. here is how to do it:

    1. Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialog, type taskschd.msc, and click on OK to open Task Scheduler.
    2. Click on Task Scheduler Library in the left pane of Task Scheduler, and click on Create Task in the right Actions pane.
    3. In the General tab, type a name (ex: "nupdate") you want for this task, and type an optional description of the task.
    4. In the General tab, check the Run with highest privileges box.
    5. In the General tab, select Windows 10 in the Configure for drop down menu.
    6. Click on the Actions tab, and click on the New button.
    7. Brows to path in the Program/script field.
    8. Click on the Conditions tab, uncheck the Start the task only if the computer is on AC power box, and click/tap on OK

If you want a shortcut to the program you created : (when you run the shortcut the app will run without UAC Prompt)

    9. Right click on your desktop, and choose create new Shortcut.
    10. Type the command below into the location field, and click on Next.
    11. For example: schtasks /run /tn "Nupdate"
14.Type a name and now you can choose an icon for your new shortcut

I suggest that you first search your Lotus notes application for an option setting for automatically checking for updates and turn it off there.

If there is no such option than I agree with the suggestions to find & disable the scheduled task.

If you need further assistance, please post a screenshot or photo of the "pop up" to remove possible misunderstandings about what is happening.
