Unable to log into Windows 10 Pro 64bit desktop

Hi, Many thanks for allowing me to use this forum for help.
My Windows 10 Pro 64bit desktop with 8GB memory, 2T HDD, has been running well since I got it in July 2019. However, yesterday I tried to log into Windows as usual with my 4 digit pin and it came up "wrong credentials". I don't have the wrong credentials. The pin, as well as being wrote down in my password book, it is well embedded into my mind and I know it is the correct pin. The usual page comes up with my icon, my registered email address below it, and the field to enter my pin, but it simply won't let me in. As well as being the owner, I am the administrator. A few days ago I installed a paid version of Advanced SystemCare 13 PRO. I'm wondering if it has changed something affecting my login, but I have no idea. Please can anyone help / advise how (if possible) to get logged in / bypass the sign-in screen. The F12 (for Dell system) no longer shows up during boot-up. I'm currently using my laptop to get help. I'm unsure of which updated version of Windows 10 I'm using on the desktop, but it is up-to-date. Many thanks.

If you have a Microsoft account you could use those credential to login instead since you needed one to create the pin.

    Welcome to Ten Forums.

The conventional wisdom on these boards is that such registry clean up and tuning tools are 'snake oil' and should be avoided. If you are lucky and do get back in, there may have been a restore point created during the install. If so, try a system restore to go back to before the Advanced System care was installed.

The F12 (for Dell system) no longer shows up during boot-up....

Often these types of bios flash screens at startup are skipped if Fast Startup has been enabled, which the 'tune up' may have done without you knowing. Either turn off Fast Startup, or use Restart rather than Shut down. A Restart will always perform a full start up from cold and the 'press F12' boot up screen should appear as it did before.

They can't turn off Fast Startup if they can't log into the system.

Did you use any of it's "functions"?

The IObit Advanced SystemCare 13 Pro can run a deep scan, detects junk files and cleans it fast. But, It does even more. You have the startup optimization, internet speed booster, windows vulnerability fixer, disk defragmenter, registry cleaner, spyware and adware remover, RAM cleaner, and even more features.

You can do a Restart from the sign-in page. Power icon is at the bottom right.

You can also boot to Advanced Startup if you hold down the shift key while clicking Restart. This would allow, amongst other things, starting up in Safe Mode which may let them get in.

True, but somewhere in the process you'll still be required to provide some credentials if the user used a Microsoft Account. That when you get to Safe Mode while you won't need the pin, you'll still need the Microsoft Account credentials to login.
