MS Account Picture changes back despite deleted in "Account Pictures"

My Microsoft Account picture reverts to a picture that has been deleted. Despite my best efforts:
    1. I have changed picture in Settings / Account
    2. Then deleted the picture in Users/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Account/Pictures

Regardless, old picture will eventually return, causing me again to complete #1 and 2 above...to no avail.
I have also noticed that the wrong picture occasionally appears in the Microsoft Store. I have to sign out, restart PC, then sign in to get the correct picture...but doesn't always work.
Finally, I use Edge occasionally and the wrong picture is showing with my Microsoft Account in Edge but cannot be changed or corrected. I have tried to sign out and in, but the wrong picture continues to appear.
    Appreciate any help.
    I'm using Win10Pro v. 1909 b. 18363.836 on a Dell Latitude e6430 laptop.

Thank you for your reply. I have just now checked the "mother ship" to discover the wrong picture again. I have corrected it from here numerous times, only to have the wrong one reappear.

So now, I can change the picture...go to Account Pictures only to see the wrong one within the group again...and delete it. but none of these procedures have helped.

In a phrase, "that's my problem".

Indeed i have tried these options, but your prior post gave me an idea. When I was in the "mother ship" (my MS Account edit page) I noticed an option to Manage Devices. It lead me to place where I could unlink other accounts on my PC.

    I had 2 other accounts.
    1. An old PC that I no longer possess, and
    2. My wife's account whose pictures kept showing up in mine.

I think the matter is now solved thanks your leading me to the Account edit page.

    Thank you.

Oh Oh. I just opened Microsoft Store and wife's her pic is back. I had to change pic in Microsoft Account again.

I then checked Settings / Account...ok. (no extra pics)
I checked C:Users / myPC* / Roaming / AppsData / Microsoft / Windows / Account Pictures ...ok (no extra pics)

    Back to Square1.

This problem is weird and maddening. As I described above, I opened the Microsoft Store and the wrong Account pic was showing.
So I signed out of the Store, and when I signed in the correct pic was there. Of course I thought this is fixed now. So I closed the Microsoft Store, and when I re-opened it....yep...wrong pic.

I'm beginning to think that there are questions in the world that cannot be answered. I might just have to live with it.

    Cheers...

Since wrong pic continues to appear in the Windows Store, and only the Windows Store, I reset the store this morning with
    wsreset.exe.

Pic is now correct. Problem solved.

Thank you again for pointing me in the reach direction.
