You require permission from XXX to make changes to this folder

I have been trying to delete a shared Dropbox sub-folder (shared to me, alr unshared on Dropbox web), but to no avail.

    - Logged in as Super Administrator on Win 10 x64
    - Delete in Safe mode
    - Take Ownership with .reg file found on this forum
    - Tried LockHunter
    - FULL CONTROL for ALL Users

but I still get that error when deleting the folder! Any workaround for this?

First I would make an image of System just in case.

Any chance this folders or sub folders are read only?

You could "Try" Ubuntu and use its file manager to delete. When I say try, you don't install. Here are instructions.

Try Ubuntu before you install it | Ubuntu

Write permissions are enabled. Also tried using Ubuntu - same issue.

    Interesting.

Have you run chkdsk on that disk.

Can you delete parent folder, if it is no longer required.
