    Microsoft Account Problem...?

Almost daily there is a message pop-up, and in the notification center saying that there is a problem with my Microsoft Account. It says that it may be due to a password change... Click to fix- I enter pin#, and fix is good until next time.
I only have one computer, and no active cell phone.

Chrome is my Default browser, and I do have a Gmail icon in Bing Edge.

This all started after I got an MBAM Pro (on-demand) update pop-up/reboot.
I then got a message that my MS Account PW was incorrect (every time I opened Gmail).
I uninstalled MBAM from Control Panel, and now I just get the Fix... notification.

I do have Chrome Sync enabled (stopped nags...), and delete the Sync files when doing System Cleanup (should I do this!?).

    Hi

Think I'm following but some questions to ensure.

There are two accounts here, one your MS account and two, your gmail account.

Are these the same user name / email address?

Chrome is your default browser but you use Edge for your mail. Can I ask why? (you mentioned Gmail in Bing Edge)

Are you saving passwords in your browsers? Can you please confirm that you have looked in Chrome and Edge and deleted Gmail "Saved" password.

I don't think entering your PIN is fixing MS password. Could you navigate to

    account.microsoft.com

and sign in using your password.

I have a Gmail Favorite in Edge, but don't use it (I Hate Edge!).

I use Lastpass free password Manger, but have also saved some passwords outside of it.
Q?- How do I delete Just Gmail PW?

When I clicked sign-in, MS auto-opened (without Lastpass), so the PW must be saved.
Should I also delete my MS PW?

    Thanks.

You should be able to open lastpass and find you gmail entry.

There must be an app on your device that you click on directly to open lastpass. You will have to enter you master or vault password.

It would not hurt to delete your your MS entry in lastpass as well assuming you know that password.

    You can then re-enter them.
