    toshiba techra R940 fingerprint utility issues. windows 10 64bit


    I cant delete the fingerprints on file. I cant enroll new prints it says it has prints on file. the option for fingerprint management is greyed out and I cant click it. any ideas how to fix? thanks. :)

    thanks for the info I'll check it out.

    I have the techra R940, PT439U-01H005 which I cant find on their website... I downloaded one of them but its not working. maybe I got the wrong version but I'll check the link you provided. :)

    I have 2 older HP Notebooks that the finger feature won't work on with Win10 although did work with Win7.

    this one worked with win 7 and win 10, but I just did a reinstall of 10 and now its not working. was working before.

    a. Is your clean install the same build as before?
    b. Is the driver in use the same version?

    When you clean install you will be given whatever the latest drivers happen to be. That may have changed.

    You could experiment with trying a driver - and even an older driver then you have installed - downloaded from the manufacturer's site.

    Also try their support forum or community forum. You're more like to find someone using the same PC.

    tried different drivers no luck there. I tried using the finger print feature built into windows, but it's not letting me... its saying I have fingerprints on file that im Unable to get to to delete.

    Do you mean option 3 is not available to you?
    Add or Remove Fingerprint for Account in Windows 10
