    How can I bypass the login and lock screen palaver?


    1903 (OS Build 18363.535

    On my older PC I followed instructions which were given on this forum, but I have forgotten them.
    Can someone help please?

    Hit Windows Key + R and type control userpasswords2 Select your profile and Uncheck the box "User must enter a user name and password" Click OK confirm your password and your done.

    Thank you,

    I now don't have to jump through the sign-in hoop, but when the screen which is displayed while it's booting, it has a pretty picture background. I would like to replace this with a plain colour.

    How can I achieve this?

    Settings > Personalisation > Lock screen > Select the required options down that page.

    I'm afraid that didn't work.

    It booted up with the picture of the sea from a cave.
