    Hello Jerry,

Double check the steps in the tutorial below for having Windows 10 automatically sign in to your account at startup. It's critical that you enter the correct password (not PIN) for the account.

Sign in User Account Automatically at Windows 10 Startup

In addition, you may also want to turn off require sign-in on wakeup.

Ok, here is a curve ball :) - Is there any way to bypass Login screen when there is no password?
One local account, one user. Password fields were left blank. When I turn it On, it opens with Login screen, I hit Enter and I'm in. Easy, but annoying. I unchecked "Require Psw" box in Netplwiz, tried fixing group policy (don't have any).

The only exception is when I turn laptop off NOT via tactile Power button, but by clicking on Shut Down link in Start menu. Then it powers down without logging off, and then bypasses Login screen when turned On again.

Or should I create Psw only to disable it later?

    Hello almot09,

You can use the same tutorials above for this as well.

You would just need to leave the password fields empty when prompted for them in netplwiz.

Thank you. As I wrote, I unchecked "require password" in Netplwiz and left password fields blank. This didn't help - Logon screen still appears every time (except for when I shut it down by clicking on Shut Down link, not the tactile button). To dismiss Logon screen, I have to hit Enter without password every time.

In Regedit -> Winlogon there is no string "AutoAdminLogon", only "AutoLogonChecked" - with value not set. Should I rename AutoLogonChecked into AutoAdminLogon and set value to 1?

I wouldn't recommend using option 2 for the registry in this case.

Just to note that netplwiz will only affect at startup from say a shutdown or restart.

It doesn't affect when you sign out and sign in, or when the computer wakes up from sleep or hibernate.

I'm not sure what you are referring to since there is no option 3. Please provide more details.
